Arrival Day
Your break is finally here! Free Range Fun and magical memories await, here's our guide to making your arrival as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Checking In: Croeso y Bluestone
After what we hope is a relaxing and traffic-free journey, you'll arrive at our beautiful resort. You won't be able to see us initially - we're tucked into the hillside, and the first glimpse of your home from home will be our Arrival's Lodge where you'll be greeted with a big hello and "croeso" from our team.
When you first arrive at the resort, please follow the signs to the Arrivals Lodge where from 11 am onwards, our team will be happy to check you in for your holiday. There, staff will give you your key card, and provide any other answers you have about your break. They will also send you our Digital Welcome Pack, which will provide you with information for everything you might need for your stay including opening times, resort news, and maps.
Once you are all checked in, you are welcome to park in the Long Stay car park and enter the resort to enjoy the activities and entertainment available or, you are free to head off and explore Pembrokeshire – it’s all up to you!
Enjoying Your First Day
Guests are welcome to enjoy everything on the resort from 11am on arrival day. From the Long Stay car park, the Blue Lagoon Water Park, and the Serendome are around a ten-minute walk. Or you could head to The Village where you will find restaurants, shops, and an outside play area.
Guests are also welcome to leave the resort, but please remember you will have to queue up again at the Arrivals Lodge to get back in the Long Stay car park on your return.
Entry To Your Accommodation
Depending on what accommodation type you’ve booked, you will either be allowed access to your lodge after 3 pm or 4:30 pm. If you’re not sure, the team at the Arrivals Lodge will let you know.
Cars On Resort
Guest cars are not allowed on the resort at any other time apart from when guests are arriving and departing. Any cars you do see on the resort have either been given special permission or are staff vehicles. After your arrival time has passed, you can drive up to the barrier at any time and gain access to the resort. You will then have an hour window to drive to your assigned lodge and unpack your belongings.
Once this has been completed, your car should be returned to the Long Stay car park until departure day. Don’t panic if you’re arriving a little later, the Arrivals Lodge is staffed 24-hours a day and a friendly face will always be there to check you in.
Picking Up Your Buggy
You can collect your pre-booked golf buggy on arrival day between 2 pm and 7 pm and not only is it a fun way to get around – it means you’re quickly accustomed to the layout of the resort. Bike and Buggy Hire is positioned next to the entrance barrier, close to the Long Stay car park, so it’s easy to pick up your buggy shortly after arrival - remember to bring your driving licence with you!
Departure Day
It's time to say goodbye after - what we hope - was a magical break. Here's everything you need to do before you head home.
Checking Out
On departure day check-out time is strictly 10 am, late departures are currently unavailable, and charges may be incurred should you leave your accommodation after. You don't have to go home just yet, make your holiday last even longer, and stay on the resort until 3 pm.
You can collect your car at any point in the morning before 10 am and drive onto the resort to pack up your belongings. The barrier is permanently raised from 7 am, but if you need to leave earlier simply drive up towards the barrier and security will lift it for you.
Returning Your Buggy
If you have rented a golf buggy during your break, it will need to return on departure day by 10:30 am.
Bike and Buggy Hire opens from 8 am on departure day, so there’s plenty of time to drop it off with our team before you leave. If you are leaving before 8 am, please park the golf buggy in a safe position outside of the Bike and Buggy hire building and away from the main road. If there are any problems, please contact the 24-hour security team at the Arrivals Lodge who will be happy to assist.
Returning Your Accommodation Key
When leaving the resort please drop your accommodation key in the box provided at the Arrivals Lodge exit barrier. Guests are welcome to leave their car in the Long-stay car park after vacating your accommodation, to continue enjoying the facilities on the resort until 3 pm.
We hope you leave feeling relaxed, happy, and ready to come back again - see you soon!
Saying Goodbye: Hwyl Fawr!
Didn't that go quickly? After it feels like you've only just arrived, you're heading back home again. We hope you will be leaving with amazing memories and you'll be returning to see us again soon. There's always a welcome in the Bluestone hillside!
If there were any problems during your stay, we want to know about them so we can put them right, so please get in touch with our Guest Services Team at guestrelations@bluestonewales.com.
