Samba Drumming Workshop
Master the sounds of the elements and move to the beat of your own drum!
Bluestone’s samba is set to the rhythm of the four elements, earth, air, fire, and water. You’ll learn how to hit the beat and time the tempo of these elements with the help of our samba specialists! Wacky objects and movements are thrown in as you discover that music can be found wherever you turn. By the end of the session, everyone will perform together in the Bluestone samba parade using our very own instruments.
The workshop takes place in our Serendome's amazing Cloud Theatre and will be separated into two different age ranges (8 and under, 9 and over). This is to ensure we can adapt to the skills of our guests who are taking part and get the best out of their abilities!
Samba Drumming is only available during Summer Festival breaks

Age requirements
This session will be separated into two different age ranges: ages 8 and under, and ages 9 and over
Accompaniment
All children need to be accompanied by an adult. Adults are not required to pay or book a space unless they want to play a drum of their own.
Facilities
There is space for you to leave your pram in The Cloud Theatre and there are changing facilities on site.
